Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing Solution in Philadelphia, PA
In Philadelphia, PA, a homeowner recently reached out to Quality 1st about a recurring issue with basement leaks. After every heavy rain, they discovered pools of water along their basement walls and floor, making it difficult to use the space as intended. We proposed an effective solution: installing our WaterGuard interior drainage system and a SuperSump sump pump. The WaterGuard system was discreetly installed around the perimeter of the basement just below the floor, intercepting water before it could surface. Interestingly, because the WaterGuard is situated above the footing, it remains free from typical obstruction problems common in traditional French drains. The trapped water was then effectively directed to our reliable SuperSump pump system. This industrial-grade pump ensured swift water ejection from the home, providing an extra layer of security with its sealed lid and an alert system that warns the homeowner if water levels are rising.
