This homeowner from Lake Hopatcong, NJ was experiencing flooding through the floor of their basement during heavy rains. They called Quality 1st Basements for help and our System Design Specialist suggested Drainage Matting to roll out onto the floor, directing any standing water to the perimeter drains for expulsion. Next, CleanSpace was put on top to waterproof the walls and floors, preventing the moisture from affecting the basement air and therefore, the structure of the basement. A SmartSump was installed to effectively pump out any flooding in the basement with an alarm to let the homeowner know if there is a problem with the system. Finally, IceGuard was attached to the discharge line to prevent the system from backing up or freezing. The homeowner could breathe a sigh of relief now that their basement was fully waterproofed.
