In Montclair, NJ, a homeowner had a persistent issue despite having sump pumps installed: moisture on the basement floor. To effectively tackle the problem, our solution focused on the integration of the WaterGuard and CleanSpace systems. First, we installed the WaterGuard sub-floor perimeter drainage system. This custom PVC product fit below the surface but above the footing, channeling water seepage from various wall sources to the sump pump. Its design prevents clogging, unlike traditional systems, ensuring a seamless flow of water. Next, we enhanced moisture protection with CleanSpace. This vapor barrier encapsulation system, made of durable, UV-resistant materials, was carefully installed to guard against mold, mildew, and other moisture-related issues. It effectively creates a robust moisture barrier, protecting the integrity of the foundation.
