Back Door Water Seepage
Water seepage through this homeowner's back door was primarily caused by poor surface drainage and an uneven yard grade directing rainwater toward the entryway. Over time, repeated water exposure led to soil saturation near the foundation, allowing moisture to infiltrate beneath the threshold.

Installing TrenchDrain
First, a narrow trench was carefully excavated at the base of the entryway to create space for the drain channel.

Installing TrenchDrain
The TrenchDrain, designed with a grated surface, was then placed and securely leveled to ensure optimal water flow. It was connected to the home's drainage system, allowing water to be quickly collected and redirected away from the foundation. Once in place, the trench was backfilled and restored for a clean, finished appearance. This system now acts as the first line of defense, capturing surface water before it can enter the home.

During SmartSump Install
The process began with digging a pit to house the sump basin, ensuring it was positioned to capture water directed from the TrenchDrain System. Once the basin was securely placed, the high-powered SmartSump pump was installed inside, with a discharge line connected to carry water safely away from the home's foundation. The system was then backfilled and sealed to prevent debris infiltration, with all components tested for proper operation.

SmartSump
The SmartSump System offers powerful, reliable protection against water intrusion by automatically detecting and pumping out excess water before it can cause damage. Its high-capacity pump efficiently handles large volumes of water, reducing the risk of basement flooding and foundation issues.

SmartSump
Designed for durability and energy efficiency, the system operates quietly and requires minimal maintenance. By proactively managing water buildup, the SmartSump helps safeguard structural integrity, prevent mold growth, and maintain a dry, healthy living environment for the homeowner.

IceGuard Discharge Line
Our IceGuard Discharge Line protects the homeowners sump system by preventing freeze-related blockages in the discharge pipe during cold weather. By ensuring uninterrupted water flow away from the home, it helps maintain effective drainage year-round, reducing the risk of backups, flooding, and costly water damage.
