A homeowner in Newark, NJ, faced a persistent dilemma: a wet basement that threatened both belongings and peace of mind. This common problem, experienced by many in the area, was caused by groundwater seeping through the walls and floors, leading the family living there to seek a durable solution to protect their home. The basement needed a comprehensive waterproofing solution. Our solution began with the installation of the WaterGuard drainage system, a smart alternative to traditional French drains. Hidden discreetly under the basement’s surface, WaterGuard successfully collected the intrusive water seeping through the walls and channeled it toward the sump pump. Complementing this, we set up the SuperSump system. Designed for resilience, it effectively pumped the water away from the foundation. Finally, BrightWall panels were installed along the basement walls, adding a more vibrant feel while redirecting any wall leaks straight to the drainage system below.
