This crawlspace in Old Bridge, NJ was damp and giving off musty odors. They called Quality 1st Basements for a free quote and estimate. Our System Design Specialist, Dane Cuccinello, suggested CleanSpace to encapsulate the crawlspace, creating a barrier between the damp walls to prevent it from affecting the air. Underneath that, Drainage Matting was installed to help move standing water to the perimeter drains. TrenchDrain was installed near the opening of the space to stop moisture from the entryways from flooding. A Smart Sump was installed to pump out all the water that has been gathered by the TrenchDrain. On the exterior of the home, an IceGuard was installed to prevent the system from freezing or backing up. LawnScape was installed on the lawn to allow an outlet far enough from the foundation to prevent damage. The homeowner can now have peace of mind that their home and family is safe.

Drainage Matting was placed across the dirt floor to direct any flooding or standing water to drain out of the crawlspace.

TrenchDrain was placed by the entranceway to stop water in its tracks before fully entering and drains the water toward the sump pump.

LawnScape was installed on the outside of the property as an outlet away from the foundation. Its green design blends into the lawn for curbside appeal and is flat to make mowing a breeze.
