A homeowner in Elkton, MD needed to waterproof their basement. They chose Quality 1st Basements to perform a full inspection to diagnose the problem. Our System Design Specialist suggested WaterGuard which was installed on the perimeter of the wall to drain the water that was seeping through the wall. A TripleSafe was also installed to pump the excess water out of the basement. The system includes two backup pumps that would take over in case of an emergency, so the basement stays nice and dry. TrenchDrain was installed near the doorway to stop water in its tracks. Lastly, IceGuard was installed on the discharge line to prevent the system from freezing in the winter months or from an overflow of water. LawnScape was connected to the downspout to redirect water away from the foundation. The homeowner could now enjoy a basement that was safe from water damage.
