This homeowner in Parkville, MD was facing water intrusion through cracks in the basement walls. They called Quality 1st Basements for help and System Design Specialist, Jeff Yentzer, suggested CleanSpace on half of the wall to create a barrier between the moist walls and the basement air. WaterGuard was also installed against the walls of the basement to drain water seepage coming through and direct it towards the sump pump. A TripleSafe was installed to pump out heavy floodwater present in the basement with its three pumps, so the homeowner doesn't have to worry about flooding during a power outage or an overflow of the system. The homeowner now has peace of mind knowing their home is safe from water damage.
Waterproofing Before
This basement was facing water intrusion through the cracks in the walls.
CleanSpace and WaterGuard
This strip of CleanSpace was installed as a barrier, keeping the moisture from the walls from affecting the surrounding basement air. WaterGuard was installed below the floor slab to help drain water coming in where the floor meets the walls and directs it towards the sump pump.
TripleSafe
A TripleSafe was installed due to the amount of leakage the homeowner was getting. TripleSafe features a main pump and two backup pumps, so in case an outage or overflow of water affects the main pump, the backup pumps can kick on, keeping the basement nice and dry.
