This 200-year-old home in Fallston, MD was experiencing structural issues which were being affected by moisture present. They called Quality 1st Basements for help and System Design Specialist, Tim Schlegal, performed a full inspection. He suggested CleanSpace for the walls to provide a durable waterproof barrier to separate the moist walls from filtering into and affecting the basement air. SilverGlo was applied to the top part of the basement walls to help insulate. The SilverGlo panel materials reflects heat back into the basement to save the homeowner money on heating costs. A SmartSump was installed with an alarm to alert the homeowner if there is a problem with the system. To provide the basement with more structural support, SmartJacks were installed to lift and restore and falling beams. The homeowner could now relax knowing their basement was safe from water damage and the structural damage.
