Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Structural Repair and Waterproofing in Columbia, MD

A major storm caused severe problems in this Columbia, MD basement. The storm water came pouring through a horizontal crack in the cinderblock wall. The homeowner called Quality 1st Basement Systems to address the issue. Our System Design Specialist, Jeff Yentzer, gave the homeowner a free estimate and inspection. The basement walls needed heavy reinforcement and support, so he recommended PowerBrace which would stop any further damage and potentially straighten the wall. CarbonArmor strips were also applied to help rectify some of the bowing and cracking. WaterGuard was applied to drain the water coming through where the wall meets the floor. Finally, a TripleSafe sump pump was installed for the ultimate waterproofing protection, with backup pumps ready to go in case of an outage. The homeowner could now relax knowing their basement was protected.
