This crawlspace in Summit, NJ was a part of a very old home. It originally had vapor barriers up, but it was ineffective, as there was still water and even mold growing behind it. The homeowner needed a solution that would fix their problem once and for all. Our System Design Specialist, Andrew Carey did a full inspection of the crawlspace and determined the best waterproofing solutions. SilverGlo Panels were installed on the walls to insulate the crawlspace. Then the floors were covered with our Drainage Matting to absorb any moisture from the dirt floors. We then applied our CleanSpace Vapor Barriers and completely encapsulated the crawlspace. This durable liner is mold resistant and won't seep through. Lastly, an Everlast Door was installed on an opening to the crawlspace to seal it from the outside environment.

These SilverGlo Panels were installed to reflect heat back into the crawlspace.
Drainage Matting Absorbs Moisture
Drainage Matting was put down across the crawlspace floor to absorb any moisture from the dirt floor so it would not filter into the air above.
CleanSpace Encapsulation
The vapor barrier was replaced with CleanSpace to fully prevent water from seeping through and prevent the creation of mold.
Sealed Crawlspace
Lastly, an Everlast Door sealed the crawlspace to prevent outside air from affecting it.
