Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing Crawl Space in Brick, NJ
A homeowner in Brick, NJ was struggling with water flooding their crawl space during heavy rains. Concerned about how this persistent issue could damage their property and the home's structural integrity, the homeowner contacted Quality 1st for a solution. Our team of experts proposed a waterproofing installation that would relieve the home of these risks and restore the crawl space's health and safety.
Our crew equipped the crawl space with a complete waterproofing system featuring our SuperSump sump pump which is capable of pumping up to 2,220 gallons of water per hour. To ensure water is channeled into the new sump pump, we installed our WaterGuard Perimeter Drains just below the floor's surface. Parts of the crawl space's walls were lined with CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to encourage water coming through the walls to flow downwards into the new drainage system. With these new additions, the crawl space is completely protected against unwanted water!

Before Waterproofing
Before our team intervened, this crawl space lacked a system to protect it from the damage of persistent water seepage.
Exterior Water Access
The exterior stairwell to a home's basement or crawl space poses a greater chance of water leaking through the doors and down the walls.
Installing Drainage System
Our crew lined WaterGuard drains throughout the crawl space's perimeter for precise water collection along the foundation footing.
Waterproofed Stairwell
Our crew lined CleanSpace along the exterior stairwell where water had a greater chance of seeping through. This vapor barrier directs the water behind and down into the new drainage system so it will no longer flood.
New Waterproofing System
With SuperSump paired with a new vapor barrier and drainage system, this home's crawl space is completely protected against intruding water.
