For homeowners with finished basements, leaking water is a big risk to the environment and structural integrity of the home. A Chatham, NJ homeowner noticed this problem in their basement and became concerned with the water being absorbed into the carpet and the risk of mold growth that came with it. We sent our team out to assess the damage and provide an installation plan that would relieve the home of these threats. We replaced the flooring of the basement with our ThermalDry Planks to give a beautiful finish that is resistant to water damage, rot, and mold growth. The walls were covered in our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to prevent leaking through the walls and direct it into the WaterGuard Perimeter Drains that were also installed. These drains create a channel for intruding water to flow through and into the new TripleSafe Sump Pump. The space also was equipped with our Sedona Dehumidifier to provide maximum moisture control.
