In order to drain out the water collected by the TrenchDrain drainage system, a TripleSafe sump pump was installed. The TripleSafe sump pump has three pumps that pump out water safely away from the house. In case of a power outage, there is a battery back up that will run without electricity. The battery back up gives peace of mind - it is capable of pumping out 11,000 gallons of water on one fully charged battery. An IceGuard anti-freeze device was installed onto the sump pump line. IceGuard prevents water from freezing and blocking up the discharge line during cold New Jersey winters. A new LawnScape outlet was installed at the end of the homeowner's downspout. The LawnScape's grated lid will keep out pests and debris, is easy to clean, and will drain water reliably. Now this Leonardo basement is waterproof and ready for heavy storms!
