This homeowner in Jersey City, New Jersey noticed their basement was attracting water and musty smells. They contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Desing Specialist, Will Harris, provided an inspection of the home. Upon his inspection, Will suggested the homeowners waterproof the basement. Our foreman, Heriberto Cardoza, began by installing WaterGuard Drain System which catches water that seeps in from the walls and floors and drains it to a sump pump. Then, Heriberto installed a Vapor Barrier System on the wall which will block humidity and water vapor from getting into the basement. Lastly, Heriberto installed the TrenchLock System around the water heater to catch any condensation. Now, the homeowner does not have to worry about water intrusion in their basement.
