A homeowner in Cinnaminson, New Jersey noticed their basement was allowing water to seep through the walls and floors, due to hydrostatic pressure. A wet basement can have many negative effects such as musty smells, damp carpets, pests, and mold growth. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, JC Gibriano, provided an inspection. Our foreman, Luis Aguirre, installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump system which has three pumps in one sump liner. Then, the foreman installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System which will prevent moisture and humidity from passing through. The foreman also installed the WaterGuard Drain System which collects water and drains it to the sump pump. Lastly, the foreman installed the SaniDry Dehumidifier which will circulate the air in the basement to keep it dry.

WaterGuard and Vapor Barrier Installed
WaterGuard is installed on top of the foundation footing to be kept out of the mud zone. The Vapor Barrier System will prevent moisture from seeping into the walls.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
The TripleSafe Pump System has an airtight enclosed lid that will prevent water vapor from rising up into the basement air.
SaniDry Dehumidifier
The SaniDry will circulate the air in the basement and keep it dry, and will also filter out dust mites.
