Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproof Installation in Spring Lake, NJ
A homeowner in Spring Lake, New Jersey was looking to prevent water from getting into their basement. Water can get into a basement from the poorly compacted soil around the foundation. Over time, this soil becomes saturated during heavy rainfall, creating hydrostatic pressure which pushes water through the foundation walls and floors. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Jay Alvarez, provided an inspection. Our foreman, Esau Aquino, installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump System which has three pumps in a one-liner, with a battery-operated backup pump to kick in if the power goes out. This pump will effectively pump water out of the basement. Next, the foreman installed the WaterGuard Drain System which sits on top of the foundation footing to be kept out of the mud zone and prevent clogging. The WaterGuard collects water and drains it to the sump pump.
