Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproof Basement in West Point, NJ

A resident in West Point, New York was looking to waterproof their basement to prevent any water damage or leaking. Our System Design Specialist, Dan McNally, was able to help with a solution. He suggested they install a sump pump system, an encapsulation system, a French drain system, and a dehumidifier. Our foreman, Victor Leon, installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will pump water out of the basement. This sump pump has a backup battery to kick in, just in case of power outages during heavy rainfall. This pump also has an enclosed lid, to keep any moisture inside of the pump from getting into the basement. Then, he installed the CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier System which holds back water vapor from passing through the basement wall, and directing it to the sump pump. Next, he installed the WaterGuard Drain System which is placed below the slab and rests on top of the foundation footing. WaterGuard collects water that seeps through the basement walls and floors and directs it to the sump pump. Then, the foreman installed the SaniDry Dehumidifier which will circulate the air in the basement and ensures the basement will stay dry. Lastly, the foreman installed the IceGuard Discharge System which allows water to escape through the openings, even if the pipe is frozen or becomes blocked for any reason. Now, the basement is protected from water damage.
