A Glen Ridge, New Jersey Resident was experiencing small puddles of water in their basement after heavy rain. They noticed the was was seeping in through their unfinished basement walls creating a damp and musty environment. We sent System Design Specialist, Mike F, out to provide a full inspection and provide the homeowner with recommendations for a permanent solution.
Upon inspection, Mike noticed standing water in certain areas after the most recent rain storm we had. The basement was overall very musty smelling and wet. He recommended a full perimeter system to protect the entire basement are from water. Foreman, Jonathan and his team installed our TripleSafe Sump System along with a full perimeter French Drain System known as WaterGuard. The WaterGuard is installed above the foundation footing to collect water seepage and direct it straight over to the sump pump. Our TripleSafe has an airtight lid to prevent water from evaporating back into the basement along with an alarm system to notify the homeowner of any issues.
French Drain System
WaterGuard is installed above the footing of the foundation out of the "Mud Zone" to prevent damage or clogging which could create the basement to flood.
Sump Pump System
Our TripleSafe Sump Pump System has multiple benefits versus a store bought system. This system has three sump pumps that sit inside a protective liner. We also attached a back up battery system to keep the pump working through a power outage.
