A resident in Perth Amboy, NJ was having water seepage through the walls after heavy rain. This was a concern as the homeowner had valuable items kept in the basement. System Design Specialist, Brian Cedar, went out to the home to inspect the area. Brian recommended having a sump sump pump, waterguard french drain system, and clean space liner to be installed to prevent water from damaging the basement. Victor Leon, the senior foreman who was directing the team, started to jackhammer the foundation to make way for the waterguard drain system. He then drilled small holes into the foundation footing to make sure all the water from the wall were drained. After placing the sump pump in its position, the crew tested the pump to make sure it was ready for any future water intrusion.
