Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Finished Basement is Waterproofed in Scotch Plains, NJ
A finished basement in Scotch Plains, New Jersey had moisture and signs of mold in their basement and contacted Quality 1st for a FREE estimate.
Our System Design Specialist inspected the basement and noticed the signs of water and recommended that a waterproofing system be installed. First, WaterGuard was installed along the perimeter of the basement, underneath the floor slab, on top of the foundation footing in order to prevent clogging. This system collects water entering through the basement walls and directing it to the sump pump.
A TripleSafe sump pump was installed to pump water out of the basement. The TripleSafe has three levels of pumps built in to ensure the basement stays dry, and in case of one pump failure the other pumps will kick in. The bottom half of the basement walls had water damage and needed to be restored. Quality 1st removed the damaged walls and replaced them with clean, new walls. This finished basement is waterproofed and the homeowners can enjoy it without water entering.
