The SmartSump has a one of a kind sump pump cover, specifically designed for instances of a plumbing leak. When water from a plumbing leak fills an alarm pocket on the lid, it will sound a WaterWatch alarm that will let you know there is a plumbing leak. From that point, the water flows down an airtight floor drain that will let the water down, but damp air can't come up into your crawl space.
