Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing Solution in New Castle, DE

Our team at Quality 1st Basement Systems waterproofed an unfinished basement in New Castle, DE, after an existing small sump pump became overwhelmed during a recent water intrusion event. We installed WaterGuard to collect and direct groundwater toward a new TripleSafe sump pump system, which provides three levels of pumping protection. CleanSpace was added along the basement walls to help limit moisture vapor, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to manage excess humidity. Together, these improvements provide a more comprehensive approach to basement moisture management.

Drainage System Installation

A trench is carefully created along the basement perimeter to make room for our WaterGuard drainage system, designed to capture water before it reaches the floor.

We installed a TripleSafe sump pump system to provide three levels of pumping protection through a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery-powered backup.
