Wall Restoration
The basement walls were restored with gray EverLast wall restoration. EverLast wall systems are designed specifically for below-grade spaces, providing a durable alternative to traditional drywall in a finished basement.
Finished Basement
The completed Cranford, NJ basement now combines a full perimeter waterproofing system with finished EverLast walls and gray ThermalDry Elite Plank flooring. The result is a more complete basement space designed with moisture protection and finished living space in mind.
Drainage System
This project shows how basement waterproofing and finishing can work together. The WaterGuard and sump system address groundwater, while EverLast walls and ThermalDry Elite Plank flooring give the basement a finished, cohesive appearance.
Installation
Each segment of WaterGuard is carefully aligned to ensure proper flow to the sump pump.
Trench Line
This trench is what allows us to install a system that keeps basements dry for the long run.
Sump Pump
The new sump system gives this basement a dedicated way to remove collected water. A SuperSump was installed with an UltraSump backup system to provide an additional level of protection if the primary pump cannot operate.
ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring
The plain concrete floor was transformed with gray ThermalDry Elite Plank flooring. The plank-style finish gives the basement a more finished appearance while using a flooring system designed for below-grade environments.
