Waterproofing Solution in Brick, NJ
Challenge
A property manager in Brick, NJ, came to us with a challenging issue: their preschool basement was experiencing water seepage through the floors. This being a lower-level, finished space, keeping it dry was essential not only for property protection but also for the safety and use of this area. Our company, Quality 1st, values the importance of providing family spaces that are secure from water intrusion. Upon receiving the homeowner's call, one of our Customer Care Specialists promptly scheduled a free estimate appointment. They handed the case to our System Design Specialist, Andrew, who went on-site to assess the precise problems at the property. The thorough inspection uncovered that water was indeed breaching the lower grade level, seeping into the basement flooring: a serious concern that demanded an adept intervention.
Solution
To address the basement waterproofing needs, our solution involved installing both our WaterGuard perimeter drainage system and our TripleSafe sump pump. Once our production team arrived on-site, they got to work, ensuring minimal disturbance. The WaterGuard system was seamlessly installed beneath the basement floor, efficiently capturing both wall and floor seepage before it could accumulate on the flooring. This system redirected the water to the newly installed TripleSafe sump pump, providing the homeowners with peace of mind due to its triple protection design. The result was dry basement ready for regular use, free from dampness and the risk of future water entry. By the time our team left, the preschool space in the basement was secure, functional, and most importantly, dry.
