Basement Waterproofing Solution in Old Bridge, NJ

Challenge

A homeowner in Old Bridge, NJ was dealing with a damp, messy block wall basement that showed clear signs of ongoing water intrusion. Moisture had caused visible staining and water damage along the basement walls, making the space unpleasant and raising concerns about long-term deterioration. Water was entering where the walls met the floor, allowing damp conditions to persist and contributing to an unhealthy basement environment. Without a proper drainage system or effective moisture control, the basement remained vulnerable during heavy rains and seasonal groundwater buildup.

Solution

After a full inspection, our System Design Specialist, Dane designed a comprehensive waterproofing solution to control water at its entry point and improve the overall condition of the basement. We installed the WaterGuard interior drainage system along the perimeter to capture groundwater before it could spread across the floor. The system was directed to a newly installed SuperSump, ensuring reliable and efficient removal of water from the home. To further protect the space and prevent moisture from passing through the block walls, we lined the walls with CleanSpace, creating a durable vapor barrier that also brightened and cleaned up the appearance of the basement. Once the system was installed, the basement was transformed into a cleaner, drier, and more manageable space with long-term protection against future water issues.
