A short block wall basement in Lincoln Park, NJ was showing signs of moisture and dampness, and the homeowner wanted a long-term solution to prevent water intrusion. Concerned about flooding during heavy rains and the potential for damage to the space, they sought a reliable system that could both capture and remove water efficiently while also protecting the walls from future moisture issues.
Solution
Our team designed a comprehensive waterproofing system tailored to the homeowner’s needs. We installed WaterGuard along the perimeter to catch water entering at the base of the walls, paired it with a SuperSump sump pump to remove water efficiently, and lined the walls with CleanSpace to create a moisture barrier and improve air quality. Once the system was in place, the crew finished by pouring fresh concrete over the WaterGuard, ensuring a clean and durable finish. The completed installation provides the homeowner with a fully protected, dry basement that can withstand heavy rainfall and maintain a safe, comfortable environment.
