Waterproofing a Wet Basement in Roselle Park, NJ

Challenge

A Roselle Park, NJ, homeowner was facing persistent basement water issues. Their old sump pump system could no longer keep up with water intrusion, leading to dampness, peeling paint, and water stains along the basement walls. With each storm, they worried about flooding and further damage. On top of that, the basement looked dark and unwelcoming due to moisture and aging walls. Solution

Our crew designed a comprehensive waterproofing system to address the problems head-on. First, we installed our WaterGuard around the perimeter to capture water seeping in from the floor and walls. The drainage system then directed water to a new SuperSump pump system, replacing the failing old pump with one that offers powerful protection and reliability. To improve both function and appearance, we lined the walls with CleanSpace, a bright, durable vapor barrier that seals moisture out and gives the basement a cleaner look. With these upgrades, the basement now stays dry and protected, and the homeowner finally has peace of mind during heavy rainstorms.
