Challenge

The homeowner’s partially finished basement had become a source of frustration. During heavy rain, water would seep into the space, damaging flooring and lower wall sections. The existing materials were not designed to handle moisture, leaving behind stains, bubbling, and a musty odor. Beyond the functional problem, the space had lost its appeal and could no longer be comfortably used. The homeowner needed a permanent waterproofing system and a way to restore the basement’s appearance so it could serve as a functional extension of their home again.

Solution

Our crew began by installing the WaterGuard interior drainage system around the basement’s perimeter to collect incoming water and direct it to a new TripleSafe sump pump system. The TripleSafe provides three levels of pumping capacity and a battery backup, ensuring the basement stays dry even during power outages or pump failure.

Once the waterproofing was complete, we focused on restoring and upgrading the space. Damaged lower wall sections were replaced with our wall restoration panels, which are moisture-resistant and easy to clean.
