Basement Waterproofing Solution in Ringwood, NJ
Challenge
A homeowner in Ringwood, NJ came to us after facing two severe basement floods. Once a fully finished space, their basement had to be completely gutted, and they were determined not to go through it again. The water damage was extensive, and future protection became their top priority.
After scheduling an inspection with our Customer Care Specialist, one of our experienced System Design Specialists visited the home. During the evaluation, it was determined that water was entering at the floor and wall joints, making drainage and sump pump solutions essential.
Solution
We installed the WaterGuard interior drainage system, which runs discreetly along the perimeter of the basement floor to intercept any water before it can cause damage. To complement this, we added the TripleSafe Sump Pump System: a high-performance unit featuring a primary pump, a backup pump, and a battery-powered third pump for added reliability during power outages.
Finally, our crew lined the basement walls with CleanSpace, a bright white vapor barrier designed to prevent moisture from entering through the porous concrete. Not only does this improve protection, it enhances the basement’s overall appearance and creates a clean foundation for any future finishing plans.
