In Edison, NJ, a homeowner reached out to Quality 1st Basement Systems after noticing water pooling in the corner of their unfinished basement. Concerned about long-term damage and the risks of mold or structural weakening, they knew they needed professional help.

After connecting with our Customer Care Specialist, an on-site inspection was quickly arranged. One of our experienced System Design Specialists visited the home and thoroughly evaluated the moisture issue. The problem was clear: water was seeping in through the joint between the foundation walls and the basement floor due to improper drainage.

Solution

To provide a lasting solution, our team installed the WaterGuard drainage system. This innovative system channels incoming water discreetly beneath the basement floor and directs it straight into the newly installed TripleSafe Sump Pump System. The TripleSafe offers three layers of protection, including a battery backup, to ensure the basement stays dry during storms or power outages.

To further protect the home, we also installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier along the basement walls. This bright, durable liner not only improves the look of the space but also acts as a moisture barrier, reducing humidity and discouraging mold growth.
