Addressing Moisture Intrusion In Edison, NJ Basement

Excessive rain and poor drainage had begun to impact this Edison, NJ homeowner’s basement, creating damp conditions that signaled potential for mold growth and long-term structural damage. Rather than wait for the issue to worsen, the homeowner reached out to Quality 1st for a comprehensive and permanent waterproofing solution.

Solution

During our in-depth inspection, we identified several areas where moisture was entering the space and recommended a tailored system to eliminate the problem at its source. Our crew installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump, engineered with three levels of protection to handle everything from routine water removal to emergency situations like power outages. To combat moisture along the walls, we added CleanSpace Wall Panels, a bright, durable vapor barrier designed to prevent humidity and water vapor from seeping through the foundation. To complete the system, we installed our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, one of the most efficient models available for controlling humidity and improving air quality in below-grade spaces. Together, these components now work as a unified system to keep the basement dry, healthy, and structurally sound.
