French Drain Installed in Harleysville, PA

To properly waterproof a basement, it starts with a trusted French drain channel. WaterGuard is installed above the footing to this homes foundation which is considered out of the mud-zone. This prevents clogging and allows the water to flow easily into the sump pump pit. As you can see, the after picture shows the WaterGuard system in the channel before the concrete is pored over to secure it in place. the lid top on the right is to safely flood test the system in the future to ensure its functioning properly.
