Water intrusion happens because the soil around the foundation gets saturated during heavy rainfall. Our System Design Specialist, Mike Fiorillo, provided an inspection. Our foreman, Esau Aquino, installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump System which will effectively pump water out of the basement. This sump pump has a battery-operated backup pump that will kick in if the power goes out. Next, Esau installed the WaterGuard Drain System, which is installed on top of the foundation footing to be kept out of the mud zone. Lastly, Esau installed the IceGuard Discharge Line which provides an escape route for water to be drained out.
