Fed up with the water in their basement after every rain, this homeowner contacted us for a free inspection on a new waterproofing solution.
Existing Sump Pump System
Your sump pump has a big job when it comes to keeping your basement dry. Making sure that it gets maintenance properly and consistently is the key to a functioning system.
Our crew begins by drilling small holes into the wall to drain the foundation of any water. This also allows future water to drain straight into our french drain system.
Our team will jack hammer a small part of the floor to install our WaterGuard drainage system. This product is installed above the foundations footing, out of the mud-zone to prevent any clogging from soil.
Preparation Of WaterGuard Installation
Once the channel is created, our system can be installed.
WaterGuard has small openings which allows to it accept water from the ground and the wall into the drainage system. Water is then directed into our Sump pump.
Our team covers the WaterGuard with gravel and concrete to keep it in place and also to prevent damage.
This is a quality water heater flood protection system.
