Crawl Space Encapsulated in Little Egg Harbor, NJ

A homeowner in Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey was experiencing musty smells and water seepage in their crawl space. This happens because of the soil around the home. Over time this soil settles and becomes saturated during heavy rainfall. This saturated soil creates hydrostatic pressure and pushes weight through the walls. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Joe Mancini, was able to provide an inspection. He suggested a vapor barrier system be installed in the crawl space. Our foreman, Luis Aguirre, installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System throughout the crawl space. This vapor barrier system is thick like a pool liner and will keep moisture out of the crawl space. This system drains water behind it while giving the crawl space a bright and healthy.
