This customer was having a few issues with the foundation in the basement, first the customer had Vertical cracks starting from the floor and going up to the top of the wall, to stabilize this wall we used our Carbon Armour Strip system, which will strengthen and stabilize the wall over time. The second issue was water seeping in through the porous block foundation every time it would rain. Our waterproofing solution was to install a Cleanspace Vapor Barrier,a Trench drain at the entrance of the outside door, Waterguard along the basement perimeter and a SuperSump Pump.

This customer had two hairline fractures in the concrete foundation, that when it would rain, would allow water to intrude in the basement. This customer wanted to finish their basement further down the road, but knew before he jumped on such a big costly project, the water intrusion would need to be taken care of.
We came out and injected the hairline cracks with our Polyurethane Injection which is a repair system that can stop water seepage immediately. We follow up the Polyurethane injection with our FlexiSpan repair system. Flexispan, as it says in the name, is flexible and moves with the wall if the foundation walls happen to move. This eliminates re-cracking and seepage further down the road.

This Lititz customer had a semi-finished basement that he was looking to install an Egress window in the unfinished portion. This area currently had a window, but the window was not large enough to escape out of in case of an emergency and this same window, did not allow much natural lighting into the basement. We came out and installed an In-Swing Egress with a RockWell. This large In-swing Egress will now brighten up the basement with the amount of natural light it is allowing to come in and, in case of an emergency, this is now a quick, safe and easy exit from the basement.

A Manalapan, NJ homeowner knew there was a serious issue in their basement after discovering water flowing inside during heavy rains. They knew that if the problem was not resolved, it would lead to serious problems including humidity, mold, and efflorescence build-up. After searching the Internet, the homeowner found Quality 1st Basement Systems and thought they would be a perfect fit.
After a quick phone call, the homeowner scheduled an appointment with our System Design Specialist, JC Gibriano. JC arrived at the home, on time, and fully inspected the basement. He discovered the walls were cracked allowing water to seep through, so JC recommended waterproofing the basement would be the perfect solution.
Within the next few days, our foreman, Esau Acqunio, and crew waterproofed the basement. The components of our full waterproofing system include: the WaterGuard French Drain System, which collects water seeping through the basement walls and pumps it to the Triple Safe Sump Pump, where it will then pump water out of the basement, and SaniDry Sedona will provide a dry and secure environment for the basement so moisture and humidity will not grow.
After the installation was done, the homeowner was happy to see their basement fully dry, secure, and ready for action!
This homeowner in Red Bank, New Jersey noticed their concrete patio was sinking and settling. This can happen if the concrete is poured over poorly compacted soil. Over time, the soil settles and creates voids underneath the slab, causing it to become unlevel. If this goes unrepaired, it could cause major tripping hazards and someone could injure themselves.
The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our customer service representative booked them an appointment with our System Design Specialist, Joseph DelVecchio. Joe arrived at the home and provided a thorough inspection. Joe suggested they use polyurethane foam to lift and level the concrete.
Our foreman arrived at the job site and began the process of installing the PolyLevel Injection System. This is done by drilling tiny holes into the concrete and injecting the foam into the voids underneath. This can be installed within a day and requires minimal disturbance to the concrete. PolyLevel is environmentally friendly and is lightweight so it will not add any existing weight to the soil.
When the job was complete, the homeowner was happy with the outcome, as well as the professionalism they observed on the job. Since the install, they have not experienced any other issues with their concrete.

Feeling overwhelmed, they decided to contact Quality 1st for a permanent solution.
After assessing the situation, our team recommended a comprehensive waterproofing system that would address the root causes of the water intrusion. We began by installing our patented WaterGuard Drainage System along the perimeter of the basement, designed to capture and redirect water away from the foundation before it could seep into the living space. The WaterGuard system is equipped with a unique design that prevents clogging, ensuring reliable, long-term performance. This was the first step in keeping the basement dry and protected from future water intrusion.
To ensure that any water entering the basement would be effectively removed, we also installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump. This powerful system is equipped with three pumps for maximum reliability—one primary pump, a secondary pump for high water volumes, and a battery backup pump to ensure the system keeps running during power outages. This triple-layered approach provided the homeowner with peace of mind, knowing their basement would be protected from flooding, even during heavy storms or unforeseen circumstances.
To further enhance the system’s effectiveness, we installed our IceGuard Discharge Line to prevent water from freezing and blocking the discharge pipe during the colder months. The IceGuard features built-in vents that allow water to escape if the pipe becomes frozen, ensuring uninterrupted drainage year-round. With the full system in place, the homeowner’s basement was transformed into a dry, healthy, and inviting environment, free from the water seepage that had once plagued the space. The persistent moisture not only limited the functionality of the space but also presented concerns over potential damage and mold. Our System Design Specialist visited the property and conducted a thorough assessment. It became clear that water seepage through the foundation walls and floor was the root cause. To address this, we recommended our trusted solution: the combination of WaterGuard drainage and the TripleSafe Sump Pump system. The WaterGuard system, a superior perimeter drainage solution, was installed discreetly beneath the basement floor surface. Concerned about this potential safety issue, they called us to see what could be done. To mediate this, we proposed the installation of our SmartJack System, which not only stabilizes crawl space beams and floor joists but also works to lift the floors toward their original elevation and reduce excessive floor bounce. During a routine check of their basement, a New Providence, NJ homeowner noticed worsening horizontal cracks forming along one of the foundation walls. Over time, the cracks had become more pronounced, raising serious concerns about potential structural instability and future water intrusion. Unsure of how severe the issue might be, the homeowner reached out to Quality 1st for a professional evaluation and long-term solution.
Our team conducted a thorough inspection of the basement and quickly identified the source of the problem: excessive hydrostatic pressure from the surrounding soil was pushing inward on the foundation wall, causing it to bow and crack. If left untreated, this could have led to major structural damage and significant repair costs down the line. To address the issue, we recommended the installation of our CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System, an advanced and non-invasive solution designed to stabilize foundation walls permanently.
The CarbonArmor System uses flexible carbon fiber straps bonded to the wall with a high-strength epoxy. These straps are anchored to the floor joists above, allowing them to counteract inward wall movement and redistribute pressure evenly. Unlike traditional repair methods that require extensive excavation, CarbonArmor installs quickly and blends seamlessly with the basement environment, providing a clean, effective, and permanent solution to the wall failure.
To further protect the basement, we also installed our SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System, which efficiently removes any water collected by the drainage system and helps prevent future water-related damage. With both systems in place, the homeowner can now enjoy a structurally sound and dry basement, backed by industry-leading solutions that restore confidence in their home’s safety and longevity.

Wanting a permanent solution to restore proper support and prevent further movement, the homeowner turned to us for help. Our team installed SmartJacks in the crawl space to reinforce the structure and provide adjustable, long-term support to the floor system above. The SmartJacks were carefully positioned and set on solid footings to lift and stabilize the sagging areas. With the new supports in place, the floors in the home are now properly supported, more level, and structurally sound, giving the homeowner peace of mind and improved comfort throughout the house.
