Basement Waterproofing & Crawl Space Repair in Delaware County

Flooding, water seepage or even high humidity can quickly result in mold growth and water damage in your basement or crawl space. We prevent this from happening by installing an interior drainage system in the basement that is connected to a high volume sump pump. Any water that makes it to the basement is collected and pumped out of the home without you even noticing.

Just like the basement, in the crawl space, we similarly place a sump pump system and a dehumidifier to prevent water issues. The entire area is encapsulated with a vapor barrier to prevent mold growth. Our crawl space system comes with a 25-year warranty.

We Provide:
  • Basement Waterproofing

Sidewalk Raising in Palmyra, NJ

A homeowner in Palmyra , NJ contacted us with sinking concrete concerns in the front of their home. The sidewalk in front of their home and the path leading up to their front door had settled creating an uneven walkway path. Not only was it an eyesore to the homeowner but also a trip hazard that could cause serious injury if not leveled. When they heard we had an alternative solution to concrete replacement, they contacted us right away for a free estimate.

Our Concrete Repair Specialist, Jeff P. met with the homeowner and did a full inspection of the sidewalks and pathways around the entire property. He measured roughly 2 inches of settlement on the from sidewalk, 3 inches of settlement on the walkway path and 1 inch of settlement on the back patio. The homeowner expressed their concerns about replacement since the new concrete would no longer match the existing. Jeff recommended our concrete raising solution, PolyLevel.

PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the sinking slab. The foam fills expands under the slab to fill any voids and raise the concrete. Once the concrete is raised back towards its original level, the foam hardens to stabilize the slab to prevent future settlement.

The homeowner was so happy they chose Quality 1st Basements to provide a solution for the concrete issues they were experiencing.

Basement Waterproofing in Upper Chichester, PA

Recently, a homeowner in Upper Chichester, NJ, reached out to us with a problem that's all too familiar: a wet basement that's making the space unusable and potentially damaging the home's foundation. After giving our Customer Care team a call, we scheduled a home inspection to get to the root of the problem. Upon inspection, our System Design Specialist identified that the water seepage was mainly coming through the walls and floor joint. The solution? A combination of WaterGuard, CleanSpace, and SuperSump to create a dry and usable basement space. Here's how we did it: First, we installed WaterGuard, our patented drainage system, around the perimeter of the basement. This underfloor system captures water at the most common point of entry - the floor and wall joint - and directs it to our SuperSump, where it's then pumped out and away from the home. Next, CleanSpace liner was applied to the basement walls. This bright, white liner not only improves the appearance of the basement but also acts as a vapor barrier, stopping water vapor from permeating the walls and further contributing to humidity levels. Finally, the SuperSump pump system was installed. Equipped to handle the toughest of water intrusion issues, this sump pump system ensured the water captured by WaterGuard and CleanSpace not just leaves the basement, but stays out.
