Over time, concrete sinks and settling due to the soil beneath no longer being able to support the heavy concrete. Trip hazards form which can cause serious injury if not careful. Sinking concrete not only hurts the value of the home but also brings a safety concern. Replacing the concrete is a temporary fix and leaves you with miss matched concrete.

PolyLevel raises the sinking slab back to level without causing disturbance to the surrounding area. This polyurethane foam is environmentally friendly and waterproof and therefore will not deteriorate over time. This concrete leveling will stabilize the the concrete permanently to prevent future settlement.

Job Stories From Long Valley, NJ
Concrete Repair in Long Valley, NJ

A homeowner in Long Valley, New Jersey noticed their concrete walkway was sinking and becoming unlevel. They knew if this had gone without repair, someone could trip and injure themselves.

The homeowner called Quality 1st Basement Systems after finding us on the internet. We sent our System Design Specialist Jeffrey, to provide an inspection. Jeffrey suggested they use polyurethane foam to lift and level the concrete.

Our foreman used our PolyLevel Injections by drilling small, penny-sized holes into the concrete. This process is repeated until the concrete is brought to a raised position.

When the job was complete, the homeowner was happy to see their sidewalk was safe to walk on again!

Sidewalk Repair in Long Valley, NJ

A homeowner in Long Valley, NJ noticed their sidewalk was in need of repair, so they contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems to find the perfect repair solution. We had our System Design Specialist, Laszlo Lenkey, inspected the sidewalk and noticed the concrete slabs were sinking about two inches. Luckily, there were no cracks, so Laszlo suggested our Polylevel Injection method would be the perfect solution.

Polylevel is a more durable solution that is long-lasting and provides many benefits. unlike mudjacking, polylevel is not a mixture of concrete and mud, but a foam made from structural graded polymers. It is less messy, waterproof, and environmentally friendly. In addition, polylevel takes fifteen minutes to heal before it can be stepped on.

After our crew repaired the sidewalk using the Polylevel Injection, the homeowner was happy to see their sidewalk fully repaired and ready for action!

Concrete Patio Repair in Long Valley, NJ

A homeowner in Long Valley, New Jersey noticed their concrete patio was sinking and becoming unlevel. This happens because of the poorly compacted and loose soil under the slab. Over time, this soil settles and creates voids underneath the concrete, causing it to become unlevel. This can be a safety hazard because a friend or family member can trip over it and injure themselves.

The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems after seeing our ads in the mail. Our System Design Specialist, Jeff Pitek, was able to provide an inspection and help them find a solution to this issue. Upon his inspection, Jeff noticed how unlevel the patio was. He suggested a polyurethane solution to lift the patio back to its original position.

Our foreman arrived on the site and began the installation of the PolyLevel Injection System. This process is done by drilling small, penny-sized holes into the concrete, and injecting the polyurethane foam into the voids to lift the slab. The polyurethane foam has expanding properties that allow for an accurate lift and leveling of the slab. PolyLevel is a lightweight and environmentally friendly solution that will not wash out and will not add weight to the existing soil.

When the job was complete, the homeowner was pleased with the outcome. They were able to safely walk on their patio without the hazard of tripping.

Over time, this soil becomes settles and creates voids underneath, causing the concrete to sink. As you can see in the photo, this concrete was a dangerous tripping hazard.
