Hello, I have a 2 bdr condo and water is leaking into the far bedroom from the outside perimeter walls. The carpet along the two walls is soaking wet, and it's starting to smell musty. It doesn't seem to be affecting the walls, just at the floor/carpet, water must be leaking in just above the floor slab, so it's making the carpet damp. The association of my condo doesn't approve another contractor to inspect the outer roof surrounding the building, so I am looking for an inside fix while the association is fixing the exterior.

I wanted to contact you in reference to a special request I have.

The dry wall material that was installed is of a very distinction and high quality look.

I am planing on finishing off another wall that runs next to the wall where the drain was installed.

My request is this: Is it anyway possible for me to purchase the same dry wall material with the textured fabric finish for my other wall, dimensions 3 feet high by 11 feet, 10 inches long; or, can you direct me to where I can possible purchase the same dry wall?

Crawl Space Dehumidification to Eliminate Musty Odors in West New York

Willie of West New York disliked the smells being emitted from his crawl space. The musty odors of were creeping up from the ignored space to the living area of the home. Willie knew he had to take action, so he hopped on the internet to search for help. What he found was Quality 1^st Basement Systems with an offer to provide a free inspection, consultation, and estimate to fix crawl space problems. He called and made an appointment.

Waterproofing specialist Nick Biris met with Willie and inspected the crawl space area. They decided on a plan to permanently eliminate the musty odors. Step one was to install a new, snug-fitting EverLast Crawl Space Door to prevent moisture from entering. Then the air vents would be replaced with CleanSpace plastic airtight vents to further help seal the crawl space from damp outside air. Lastly, a low-profile auto-draining SaniDry CX Crawl Space and Basement Air System was installed to keep the area dry.

The combination of efforts to keep the crawl space sealed and dry would eliminate the potential for mold, mildew, and other musty smelling growths from thriving beneath Willie’s home. Thereon after, Willie could breathe drier, filtered air without the nasty smells from below!
