Basement Design Specialist Kenny Tramutola completed a thorough inspection of the basement.  He found signs of water intrusion and observed that the horizontal crack and bowing wall needed attention.  First, Kenny proposed installation of a waterproofing system which included a full perimeter WaterGuard, a TripleSump sump pump, an IceGuard, a LawnScape Outlet, and BrightWall Paneling.   Water seepage through the basement walls would move to the WaterGuard and be directed to the sump pump system.  The TripleSump includes an efficient primary pump, a back-up pump (in case the first one fails or if there is a need for extra pumping power), and a third battery-operated pump (designed to kick in if the power goes out).  The TripleSafe would pump water out of the basement and would be prevented from causing a flood in winter months (if the discharge line freezes) by inclusion of an IceGuard.  The LawnScape Outlet would help disperse the drainage on the lawn.  Lastly, the BrightWall Panels would brighten up the basement area while providing a barrier to water vapor.
