1-732-800-5441A homeowner in Budd Lake, New Jersey was experiencing water seeping through their basement walls and floor. This occurs because the soil around the home is loose and poorly compacted, and becomes saturated during heavy rainfall. A wet basement can have many negative effects such as damp carpets, musty smells, increased energy bills, and even mold growth. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our foreman, Mario Barron, installed the SuperSump Pump Classic which will effectively pump water out of the basement. This sump pump has an airtight enclosed lid, to keep the moisture from getting into the basement air. The foreman also installed the WaterGuard Drain System, which sits on top of the foundation footing to keep it out of the mud zone. This system catches the water and drains it to the sump pump.
