System Design Specialist, Steve and our Foreman Mario worked together with the homeowner to completely transform this damp basement into a dryer and healthier space! We installed our WaterGuard Drainage System, a TripleSafe Sump Pump, IceGuard and our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier.
To eliminate water coming in through the walls and floor of this Somerville, NJ home, a TripleSafe Sump Pump and WaterGuard System were installed. The WaterGuard System directs water leakage from the foundation towards the sump pump. The TripleSafe Sump Pump then pumps the water out of the basement and away from the home. The pump is equipped with 3 pumps so ensure that it will never overflow. Additionally, the TripleSafe has an airtight lid to prevent dirt and debris from the basement from getting in and to keep the water from getting out into the air.
Our Moisture Vapor Barrier known as CleanSpace, was installed to the walls of this Basement to prevent moisture and water seepage through the foundation walls. The CleanSpace will force any water coming through the foundation walls directly down into the our WaterGuard Drain system that directs all water over to the sump pump.
