Kenny proposed installation of a waterproofing system which included a full perimeter WaterGuard, a TripleSump sump pump, a TrenchLock, an IceGuard, CleanSpace Walling, and a half-wall EverLast Wall System.  The CleanSpace Walling helps drain water vapor and leaks into the WaterGuard.  To transition across a stairway and to catch any water leakage that may come from outside, a trench drain (connected to the WaterGuard) is put in place.  Water in the WaterGuard is directed to the TripleSump, which includes an efficient primary pump, a back-up pump (in case the first one fails or if there is a need for extra pumping power), and a third battery-operated pump (designed to kick in if the power goes out).  The TripleSafe pumps water out of the basement and is also prevented from causing a flood in winter months (if the discharge line freezes) by inclusion of an IceGuard.
