WE had a problem, hired them when we had a problem and since then our basement is bone dry. Excellent work.
Every level of employee from Quality 1st Basement Systems was a pleasure to do business with. From the job estimator, to customer service reps, to the service techs, all were extremely professional, curtious, on time, clean, and the work was performed as advertised.. The final price was the same as what was quoted. They are really proud of the work they do and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to waterproof their basement.. We are Very happy with the results of our new basement and thank everyone at Quality 1st for the great work they did!
Our original sump pump was installed at least 15 years ago. In the past couple of years we would have problems with the float getting stuck with soot. Also in 2007 we experienced a Nor-easterner. The original pump could not keep up with the water coming into our basement.
Late 2007 we started getting calls from contractors looking to do basement work. Many of the contractors did not listen to our concerns with the drainage of the sump pump and provided exorbitant price quotes. They were so confusing and expensive that I was just about ready to give up looking.
Quality 1st Basement Systems gave the last quote. They walked throughout the basement area and outside, listened to my concerns and sat down with me to explain their basement system. Their use of computer graphics while they explained their services was wonderful. Their price quote was better than all the rest plus the features of their system were far superior.
The installers were on time, and clearly explained what they planned to do. The dust was minimal. They continuously cleaned as they worked. Any concerns that I may have had, they eased them. Before they left, they explained the system and all the paper work that they left with me.
In two months since the installation, we have had a lot of rain, but none in the basement.
Service is very important to my wife and I, and we would gladly recommend Quality 1st Basement Systems. During this process, we felt that we were the most important clients.
The sales person and the foreman were both great.
Overall I am very happy with the decision to buy the Triplesafe system. The price still kind of bothers me, but after getting water in the basement 3 times this year after lengthy power failures (and never for 15 years before that), I wanted what appeared (and still appears) to be a professional, reliable sump solution. Thanks.
This is the second job with Quality first. I'm very happy - like the first time.
Very professional, extremely capable salespeople and installation personnel. As much as we dreaded having to go through this process, Quality 1st made it as painless as possible.
It took longer than planned because of supplies being back ordered, however, everyone was very up front with the problems and I was kept informed at each step. The gentlemen who did the installation were very nice and obviously knew how to do their job. AND, for the first time in this houses 50 year history, even Hurricane Irene couldn't dampen the crawlspace. TADA!

I had called the office on the day of installation to instruct the crew to leave the old pump.
My wife instructed the crew to leave the old pump.
The crew did not leave the old pump.
I called the office the following day and apparently the crew had misunderstood my request.
The office offered to retrieve the old pump from the trash, and I declined the offer.
Overall very satisfied.
A follow-up visit to check out work might be a consideration in the future.

The job went as expected, that is to say I expected a large amount of dust. Be prepared, this is VERY dusty work! Expect to have to wipe down everything and do a great deal of vacuuming in the days after the job is done. The installation crew worked VERY hard, again, this is very physical work and they did what they could to keep the dust and debris to a minimum. The crew worked around a few little obstacles, like a door frame that was very close to a wall, and overall the job was well done. The concrete work is very good and the new sump pump looks like it was there all along. I would highly recommend Quality 1st!
It's way too early to evaluate the job and to say whether I would hire you again. The job was just finished yesterday. Let's wait a while and see how the job holds up. Better yet, let's wait until I have a problem and I see what kind of customer service I receive on the warranty.

I was impressed with your first inspection visit. Your Inspector Don came at the exact time, gave a through inspection and draw the solution plan on computer with your state of art software, show me a video how the construction process will be. every item, each step, and all the price is so clear, it is honest and transparent, no trick, no hidden charge.
your installation crew came on the scheduled date, Foreman Shannon walk me through the process before the work starts,cover the non-work area with plastic. the crew worked 8 hours non-stop till dark. Shannon also came up a very smart idea where the PVC tapping to the gutter drain seems to have an impossible angle. after everything is done, Shannon walked me through again, explained to me what's been done. all debris and dirt were cleaned up. Generally i am extremely happy and impressed by your work. I hope you guys keep doing what you do, it's purely professional and really on top of the game. I would definitely recommend you guys.
