Every level of employee from Quality 1st Basement Systems was a pleasure to do business with. From the job estimator, to customer service reps, to the service techs, all were extremely professional, curtious, on time, clean, and the work was performed as advertised.. The final price was the same as what was quoted. They are really proud of the work they do and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to waterproof their basement.. Our original sump pump was installed at least 15 years ago. In the past couple of years we would have problems with the float getting stuck with soot. Also in 2007 we experienced a Nor-easterner. The original pump could not keep up with the water coming into our basement.
Late 2007 we started getting calls from contractors looking to do basement work. Many of the contractors did not listen to our concerns with the drainage of the sump pump and provided exorbitant price quotes. They were so confusing and expensive that I was just about ready to give up looking.
Quality 1st Basement Systems gave the last quote. They walked throughout the basement area and outside, listened to my concerns and sat down with me to explain their basement system. Their use of computer graphics while they explained their services was wonderful. Their price quote was better than all the rest plus the features of their system were far superior.
The installers were on time, and clearly explained what they planned to do. The dust was minimal. They continuously cleaned as they worked. Any concerns that I may have had, they eased them. Before they left, they explained the system and all the paper work that they left with me.
In two months since the installation, we have had a lot of rain, but none in the basement.
Service is very important to my wife and I, and we would gladly recommend Quality 1st Basement Systems. During this process, we felt that we were the most important clients.

The crew from Quality 1st Basement Systems was excellent. They came out and started immediately. The job took 2 days, originally they thought it would take 3 days. They were very hard-workers. This was an exceptionally tough job and they did it all by hand, carrying out the broken concrete. It was very labor intensive work and they did a good job. We are very, very happy with it.
I thought their price was invaluable, for the work they did. I really like their actual system. They had a unique way of doing the water proofing. They dug a channel under the cement drawing the water away from the basement. I think the owner invented the system, from what I read in their information.
We have had problems with flooding in our basement for years. They did this work before the big storms came through, so it was perfect timing to see if it worked, and it did! There wasn't a drop of water to be found anywhere. It stayed as dry as can be. I would highly recommend them to anybody!

everyone did a great job at what they were assigned to do. The information sent prior to the visit by the sales rep. was worth the read. I learned much from that book and did have a much better feeling of security and understanding after reading the book. A must for all, prior to appointment with sales rep. The assistance of the book helped me make better decisions, ask better questions at the time of the interview. Sales person was very knowledgable about your products, what would be best for my paticular situation. Had lots of experience, assured me all those working for quality first basement systems, must take the mandatory training. You do not hire subcontractors..wonderful to know. I am so tired of that. I was provided with cell numbers, email addresses and what to expect comments from all involved. The office staff knew just where to direct my calls and did so promptly. The installation crew were, professional, polite and patient with helping me to understand how and why all the products I purchased were suited to my needs. I liked the one on one service; however, I did and do not like being sent a questionaire asking me if I would like to speak to the contractor prior to the installation...I did not send this back, but did call. Of course I wanted to speak to the installer. I was investing in a system that was going to save me much security in knowing I would no longer have to be worried about my floors buckling, the sub pump not working, having to deal with a flooded yard, having the water that was discharged from the side of my house, and running right back into the crawl space, not to mention in the spring an fall how wet my floors became because of the moisture in my crawl space. I cannot wait for the next heavy rain to see how the system works and I just love that very quiet sub-pump, yeap, I think Q first and I will have a good relationship.
Overall I am very happy with the decision to buy the Triplesafe system. The price still kind of bothers me, but after getting water in the basement 3 times this year after lengthy power failures (and never for 15 years before that), I wanted what appeared (and still appears) to be a professional, reliable sump solution. Thanks.

I did some online research and found that Quality 1st Basement Systems had gotten really good feedback, and had no real bad feedback. I was very happy with the work they did. I decided to try my luck in one of the corners, but it didn't work out for me so I called them back again for that corner too. They do a great job and I would highly recommend them to anybody.
Very professional, extremely capable salespeople and installation personnel. As much as we dreaded having to go through this process, Quality 1st made it as painless as possible.
